The Strategic Sciences MFMD (Multi-Function Muzzle Device) 5.56 is a hybrid muzzle system that works as a suppressor, flash hider and compensator in one compact unit. This configuration pairs the MD base unit with the SDX long extension, the setup in the MFMD line intended for the most sound reduction. The device is 3D-printed as a monolithic part with a flow-through internal design instead of conventional baffles, which keeps back pressure low and also tames muzzle flash and recoil. It is built for 5.56 NATO rifles, attaches directly to 1/2x28 muzzle threads, and is designed with 1.3 inches of over-the-barrel reach so it sits partly back over the barrel to keep the added length short. Finish: Flat Dark Earth.
