The Carbon Research CR22 is an ultralight rimfire suppressor built from carbon fiber, Kevlar and titanium. Its carbon fiber body and baffles keep weight to about 3 ounces, and because carbon fiber conducts heat poorly, the tube stays insulated while heat is spread through the structure. It is rated for .17 HMR through .22 Magnum, including .22 LR, and is not rated for 5.7x28mm. It measures 6.5 inches long and 1.1 inches in diameter, attaches with an embedded 1/2x28 titanium direct-thread mount, and is capped with an aluminum end cap. The manufacturer lists no barrel length restriction.
