The Alpha American Firearms AAF 4 Government is a hand-fit double-stack 1911 in 9mm, built in the USA. It is based on the AAF 3 but uses a Tritop slide profile, which cuts glare and lightens the slide slightly. The Government model has a 5-inch match-grade barrel and a stainless steel grip for added weight and stability. Other features include a light rail, wide cocking serrations, a pinned grip safety, a fiber optic front sight with a blacked-out rear, and an optic-ready slide using the Nighthawk Custom IOS system. The trigger is set at 3 to 3.75 lb. It comes with two 17-round magazines and is finished in durable black DLC.
