The AAC Ti-RANT 9M-HD is a modular 9mm pistol suppressor that can be set up in two lengths without tools. Removing the front auxiliary baffle module turns the full 8-inch configuration into a 5.8-inch compact one. The rear five baffles are 17-4 PH stainless steel, the three front baffles in the removable module are 7075-T6 aluminum, and the tube is Grade 9 titanium with a black PVD finish. It weighs 11.3 ounces at full length and 9.2 ounces in compact form, with a 1.4-inch diameter. It mounts by direct thread or a 3-lug adapter; a booster piston for tilting-barrel pistols is sold separately. Besides 9mm, it is rated for .22 LR, subsonic 300 BLK, .350 Legend, .357 Magnum and .38 Special, and for supersonic 300 BLK in limited hunting use. AAC lists about 32 dB of reduction (124 dB) in the full configuration on a 9mm M&P.
