The B&T Rotex-X is a 5.56mm quick-detach rifle suppressor rated for 5.56x45mm NATO and .223 Remington. It is a lighter evolution of B&T's Rotex-V, the suppressor fielded by several NATO militaries, reworked to cut weight by about 20 percent while keeping the same sound and flash performance. Its mount locks onto NATO MIL-STD A2-style flash hiders, so it can be fitted to many service-type rifles without a proprietary muzzle device. Construction is stainless steel and Inconel with a black Cerakote finish. It measures about 7.8 inches long and 1.5 inches in diameter and weighs about 21 oz. B&T designed it to keep point-of-impact shift small when the suppressor is attached.
