The Barrett AML338 is a titanium rifle suppressor for .338-caliber and smaller cartridges, including .338 Lapua Magnum, and is meant for long-range and magnum rifles. The titanium alloy body is fully CNC machined and orbital welded to keep weight down while staying durable and concentric with the bore. It attaches through Barrett's muzzle brake adapter mount, which locks onto a compatible Barrett brake; brakes are offered for 3/4-24 and 5/8-24 muzzle threads. It is 10.3 inches long and 1.9 inches in diameter and weighs about 1.6 pounds. This unit is finished in Coyote Brown high-temperature Cerakote. Barrett rates its sound reduction at roughly 23 to 28 dB, depending on the rifle and load.
