Ruger is excited to announce the addition of Patrol models to the already popular Ruger American Rifle Generation II family. Patrol models feature an attractive black stock textured with dark gray splatter for excellent grip and control in the field as well as a durable, Graphite Black Cerakote barreled action. The bull contour, cold hammer-forged barrel helps to mitigate recoil for extended range sessions. The muzzle is threaded to accept suppressors or other muzzle accessories and comes equipped with a color-matched thread protector. Features: Splatter finished stock provides excellent grip without being too sharp or abrasive; Soft rubber recoil pad features a large radius on the heel for easy shouldering and improved geometry; Professionally applied Cerakote coating on barrel, thread protector, receiver and bolt handle; Bull contour barrel increases weight for better stability and reduced felt recoil; Threaded barrel with factory-installed thread protector; Intuitive three-position tang safety locks the bolt; Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger; Patented Power Bedding integral bedding block system; Oversized bolt handle for positive bolt manipulation; Factory-installed, one-piece Picatinny scope base.
