The Ruger Mark IV Rimfire Pistols feature a simple, one-button takedown for quick and easy field stripping. A recessed button at the back of the frame allows the upper receiver to tilt up and off the grip frame without tools. The bolt slides out of the receiver, enabling proper cleaning from chamber to muzzle. The MKIV includes key improvements such as a one-piece grip frame precisely CNC-machined from a solid aluminum alloy, an ambidextrous manual safety, and a redesigned bolt stop for more ergonomic operation. The magazine drops free upon release for quicker reloads, and a redesigned magazine disconnect safety prevents discharge when the magazine is removed. Internal upgrades involve modifications to the hammer, sear, bolt, and firing pin for smoother, more reliable feeding. While features may vary by model, the renowned one-piece barreled receiver and internal cylindrical bolt construction remain consistent. This robust design ensures permanent sight-to-barrel alignment and enhances accuracy potential over traditional moving-slide designs. Celebrate America's 250th Anniversary with this commemorative model. Features: Commemorates America's 250th Anniversary with Made in the 250th Year of American Liberty" Engraving on the Barrel"; 1/2X28 Threaded Barrel with Thread Protector; Checkered 1911-Style Grip Panels; Factory-Installed Scope Mount; Ambidextrous Manual Safety; Ergonomic Bolt Stop.
