The Premier Body Armor Fortis Ballistic Helmet is a high-cut Level IIIA helmet built from a one-piece aramid shell pressed as a single continuous part with no ballistic seams. The S/M size weighs about 3 lb. Independent fragmentation testing to MIL-STD-662F gave a V50 of 2,218 ft/s with 17-grain fragment simulators. It comes with dovetail-compatible accessory rails in glass-reinforced polycarbonate, a 7075 aluminum NVG shroud, and an adjustable pad and retention system.
