Used Czechoslovak vz. 24 bolt-action rifle chambered in 8mm Mauser (7.92x57mm). Zbrojovka Brno built the vz. 24 from 1924 to 1942 on the Mauser 98 action. It has a 5-round internal box magazine loaded from stripper clips, a straight bolt handle and a 590 mm (about 23.2 in.) barrel. The tangent rear sight is graduated in 50-meter steps. The semi-pistol-grip stock has a long top handguard. Factory weight is about 9.2 lb. Condition, markings and any refinishing vary from rifle to rifle; this is a used collectible, so inspect it in store.
