This Colt 1911 Classic Government in .45 ACP is part of the Colt America 250 Commemorative collection, made with Orion Wholesale for America's 250th anniversary. Production is limited to 250 sequentially numbered three-gun sets, and this pistol is number 147 of 250. The set guns carry deep laser engraving with patriotic themes. The pistol is built on Colt's stainless 1911 Classic: a 5-inch National Match barrel, the Series 70 firing system, Colt rollmarks, a staked front sight, a spurred hammer and a 7-round magazine. Each set includes a walnut display case with an etched glass lid and a certificate of authenticity.
