The Colt Python is the modern return of Colt's most famous Snake Gun, a double-action revolver built from contemporary stainless steel alloys and chambered in .357 Magnum. Colt strengthened the design with about thirty percent more steel beneath the redesigned adjustable rear target sight, and a recessed target crown helps protect the muzzle. This example uses the classic 6 in barrel configuration for a long sight radius and steady handling.
